Load profile and self-consumption
From your load profile we read when your business uses how much electricity, and we size the system and its orientation accordingly. If no load profile is available, we clarify your demand at the on-site visit.

Solar PV, charging points and fuel cells for Mannheim and Rhine-Neckar businesses. Quote within 48 hours of the on-site visit.
We plan commercial solar PV in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar region: PV systems for your company roof, EV charging points for staff and fleet, and fuel cells where electricity and heat demand are high. As general contractor we coordinate the specialist companies, and you deal with one contact.
In short: If you have them, send us your load profile (your electricity consumption over time, known in German as Lastgang) and the number of parking spaces. We come to your site for the on-site visit and present a fixed-price quote within 48 hours afterwards. Work to be provided on site is itemised separately; everything else is included in the fixed price.
A solar PV system on your company roof in Mannheim is most worthwhile where the electricity is used on site during the working day. We size commercial PV in the Rhine-Neckar region to your load profile, not to the largest possible roof area, so that as much solar power as possible is used on site rather than fed into the grid.
From your load profile we read when your business uses how much electricity, and we size the system and its orientation accordingly. If no load profile is available, we clarify your demand at the on-site visit.
A battery storage system makes solar power usable after working hours and can reduce peaks in your power draw from the grid. Whether storage is worthwhile for you depends on your load profile and tariff. We calculate the variants with and without storage.
Before planning, we clarify load-bearing capacity, fire protection and insurance questions. Our partner EnBau Consulting provides structural analysis and building surveys. For PV expert reports and construction supervision on large systems, we work with Dr. Tobias Vögele.
We make no promises about returns. We calculate profitability with your data and show self-consumption and grid feed-in separately. For smaller systems and residential buildings, read more at Solar PV in Mannheim.
Whether you must provide charging points at your company car park depends on your building: since 1 January 2025, existing non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces need at least one charging point under § 10 of the GEIG (Gebäude-Elektromobilitätsinfrastruktur-Gesetz, the German Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act). We plan the charging infrastructure including load management and handle the registration with your local grid operator.
As of October 2026: According to trade press, Germany’s Bundestag and Bundesrat (the federal parliament and the council of the states) have passed an amendment to the GEIG that provides for higher quotas from 1 January 2027. So far, an exemption has applied to small and medium-sized enterprises that mainly use their building themselves. Please have it legally reviewed whether the exemption remains in place and whether it applies to you.

Load management distributes the available power across all vehicles that are charging at the same time. As a result, more charging points often fit on your connection than the sum of their rated outputs would suggest. We determine what is possible at your site during the on-site visit.
Every charging device must be reported to the grid operator before it goes into operation. Above a combined capacity of 12 kVA per electrical installation, the grid operator’s prior approval is also required (§ 19 NAV, the German low-voltage connection ordinance). We handle the registration; the processing time is up to the grid operator.
For billing staff and fleet vehicles, we plan a metering concept that shows the charging electricity per charging point. Charging at the employer remains tax-free until 31 December 2030 under § 3 no. 46 of the German Income Tax Act (EStG) (as of October 2026, without guarantee). Please clarify tax questions with your tax adviser.
Funding: According to our research, there was no active federal programme for charging points in company car parks in October 2026. We check other programmes project by project. For underground car parks of residential complexes, see Solutions for property managers.
A fuel cell produces electricity and heat at the same time and deserves a closer look if your business needs plenty of both all year round. It is a niche solution, and we assess each site individually. For biogas plants whose EEG feed-in payments (under the German Renewable Energy Sources Act) are expiring, we assess follow-on use.

A fuel cell is worth considering for:
According to our research, fuel cells in commercial use in Germany have so far run mostly as pilot and demonstration systems (as of October 2026). The benefit shrinks if electricity or heat demand fluctuates strongly. We will tell you openly if another solution fits better.
If the EEG payments for your biogas plant are expiring, we assess technical follow-on concepts, such as self-supply, heat use or a fuel cell. The framework is changing: a new EEG is being debated in the Bundestag (as of October 2026).
KfW (Germany’s state development bank) programme 433 for fuel cells has been discontinued since 1 January 2023 (as of October 2026, source: solarserver.de, 2 January 2023). We check the funding status for your project before you commission anything.
We plan and coordinate air conditioning for offices and retail space according to your cooling demand. For standard systems, 2 weeks pass from order confirmation to handover, provided delivery is secured and, where needed, funding approval is in place. We agree working times with your business. We also plan heating and heat pumps for commercial buildings with you.
Heating in commercial buildings, as of October 2026: For heating systems in non-residential buildings, KfW fact sheet 522 states a grant of 30 percent of eligible costs. Eligible costs are capped on a sliding scale by net floor area: for up to 150 m², at most 28,000 euros. You submit the application before the project starts, and we support you with it.

We agree every appointment with your business, give you a fixed price and remain your single contact. Qualified, registered specialist companies carry out the work; we coordinate them and stand behind the overall result.
If you have them, send us your load profile and the number of parking spaces. We arrange the appointment with your business.
We survey the roof, the connection and the parking spaces and clarify open questions, for example on roof structure and grid connection.
Within 48 hours of the visit you receive your quote. Work to be provided on site is listed separately, everything else is included in the fixed price. Instalments and payment dates are stated in the quote.
Specialist companies carry out the work. We coordinate dates, delivery and the grid operator, and we agree working hours with your business.
We carry out the handover together with you and remain your contact afterwards.
Short answers on solar PV, charging points, fuel cells and how a project runs.
That depends on your load profile, roof area and electricity price. For context: according to the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), rooftop systems above 30 kWp (kilowatts peak) generate electricity in southern Germany at 5.7 to 8.8 cents per kWh (as of July 2024), while small to medium-sized industrial businesses paid an average of 17.2 cents in 2026 (BDEW, the German energy and water industry association, as of August 2026). We calculate the case for your site using your load profile.
Since 1 January 2025, existing non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces need at least one charging point under § 10 GEIG, the German Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act (as of October 2026, without guarantee, not legal advice). Higher quotas are planned from 1 January 2027. Please have any exemptions legally reviewed; we handle the technical planning.
Businesses with high electricity and heat demand that lasts all year round. A fuel cell is a niche solution, and we tell you openly if another technology fits better. KfW programme 433 has been discontinued (as of October 2026); we check the funding status project by project.
Depending on the plant, self-supply, heat use or a fuel cell may be options for follow-on use. We review the technical side with you. Funding conditions are changing: a new EEG (the German Renewable Energy Sources Act) is being debated in the Bundestag (as of October 2026). We therefore make no promises about funding.
We agree dates and working hours with you in advance, so that the specialist companies disturb your operations as little as possible. Some disruption cannot be avoided, for example during work on the electrical distribution or in the car park.
